Can't your business partner help you with this?  

Whether you purchase from IBM direct or a business partner, shouldn't they help 
size your new box with/for you, just from a "thank
you for your business" point of view.  

If not, maybe you should consider finding a different vendor.

And if you are afraid they will sell you too much, find someone you can trust.
