I've heard the some PC BIOS sets are not Y2K ready.  I've not verified
it for myself though.

I have a friend who has a program which will test a PC to see if it is
indeed Y2K ready. If its public domain or shareware, I could see if I
can get it for you?  e-mail me privately if you are interested.
