Mark: I don't know how to address using the debugger from a different invocation level. However, if the source is not available on your system, compile with DBGVIEW(*LIST). There are some problems (usability and showstoppers) I've found w/ the interactive debugger. The main one is that it can't be invoked from a different invocation level. This is most evident when trying to debug an application being run from a menu program. Another problem is that you need the source. If you don't keep the source on the production box, you're in trouble! >(BTW, even with a fancy interactive source debugger, I still sometimes use >the DSPLY opcode for debugging!.) I guess the answer is to use DSPLY. -mark +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
