Hi Mark! We haven't removed lookahead function - it's still there, waiting to be used. But the chances of it being enhanced to work with externally described files are slim. BTW, over the years, we've dropped very few functions: device CARD, trailer records, and opcodes FREE and DEBUG are the only ones I can think of offhand. Would it be possible to put it back? And if it's still there to allow using it w/ externally defined files? -mark +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
