Big clunky satisfying noises came out of 'em every time you hit the enter key, and an even bigger satisfying clunk when the m/c switched the floppy (8" were they?) through a few degrees. The screen was set into the table top facing flat upward toward the ceiling, and the characters were displayed upside down and the wrong way round. A small square box was set directly over the screen, and this held a mirror at approx 45/50 degrees over the screen. From the operators sitting position they viewed the (3 line ?) screen thru' the mirror, like a periscope in reverse. The dual one allowed two operators to sit on different sides in a sort of 'Lover's Seat' configuration. Ahhh the old days. '77 ?
