re: FTP and numbers -- MIDRANGE-L

I am bummed out.  It looks to me like the code page conversions don't
make the negative number conversions.

I was wondering about using CPYF or CPYSTMF.  CPYSTMF looked promising
but it's conversions are clearly stated, and AS/400 to PC isn't one of
them.

Next I looked at DFU.  DFU is intelligent enough to know which fields
are numeric.  It is also intelligent enough to make an accurate screen
panel of a record's fields.  However I couldn't think of a way to make
the ouput be to a file instead of to a screen.  
Any one had success on this issue.
