If you mean you want to print as/400 data to a pc printer, you can do it very easily, assuming: You have TCP/IP configured on your AS/400, Your Printer has a IP address. Everything is controlled from the CRTOUTQ command. Use RMTSYS(*INTNETADR) Connection type=*IP Internet address=Printer address Destination type=*OTHER Host print transform=*YES Manufacturer type and model=whatever (ours is *HP4) We also set autostart writers to 1, so the system starts the writer automatically I didn't do anything special to configure this. I saw it done in a magazine, tried it, and it worked. We don't use pc support to run our hp printers as /400 printers at all anymore. Make sure you use STRRMTWTR to start the writer, if you don't autostart it. We want to be able to print to our PC printers from the AS/400. We use CA for Windows95 and we're not running AnyNet. Can you give me some recommendations on how this might be accomplished or point me in the right direction so I can do some more research into the problem? What are some of the pitfalls in doing this?
