John,
I find too, the rates IBM charges for upgrading V3.6/7 to V4 are too
high. For a 530 model they demanded $130K from us.
The situation is even harder for sites with some AS/400's. They
annulated the DLO arrangement, meanning reduced cost for multiple
AS/400's.
May be user groups, must do something about.
