Hello Dave,

Well, only parts of IBM but the point is true. No AS/400 tools from Rochester
or Toronto seem
to get any OS/2 attention.

Toronto have the AS/400 Toolbox for Java -- OS/2 by default because OS/2 Warp 4
has a built in
JVM.

Toronto have announced a TCP/IP direct version of CODE/400 for Windows but no
mention of OS/2
on their web pages.

Rochester have stabilised Client Access optimised for OS/2. It only supports
TCP via ANYNET
and is back-level in functionality.

Why? Because most AS/400 shops use windows.

Just because we (Chris, Dean, and I) are in a minority doesn't make us wrong!
*8) Nor does
it mean we need knuckle under and run an inferior OS to get a few superior
applications.

Regards,
Simon Coulter.
