  • Subject: Change Job Option
  • From: Patpong Watwanichchakorn <patpong@xxxxxxxxx>

Good morning,
(4-Mar-1998, 9:45am at Thailand)

Does anyone know how to deny or secure the option 2 (change) of WRKSBMJOB and
WRKUSRJOB commands to prevent any change to parameters of CHGJOB command from
the user. The user is not allowed to command entry from the screen, s/he can
run the job from the menu.

Additionally, I've tried change the object authority of CHGJOB to *EXCLUDE to
those users but it was affected to the Software package that will stop their
job(s) with error msg "not authorized to use command CHGJOB" that I think it
might used internally in CL program(s).

TIA
Patpong W.
