I've finally got my SLIP dialup connection dialing and connecting to my ISP, but I can't PING the AS/400 over the internet. I could be very wrong here, but what I thought the SLIP connection would do is make my 400 a host on the internet, just like if I dialed from my PC. In my script, I made my local address *DYNAMIC, but I have to specify my remote IP address. My ISP does not return two IP addresses like the examples given in manuals. What do I make the remote IP? If I need to get this from my ISP, how do I ask them in their language (i.e. Unix)? Thanks -- Art Tostaine, Jr. Creative Computer Associates, Inc.
