And will magically correct itself after you complain loudly enough to your carrier. We used to have problems with what the phone company called (if memory serves) a "SLIC." It was down at the corner in one of those phone company Mystery Chambers. We'd complain, the phone company truck would show up, and, like *magic*, the problem would disappear. We had a theory that the bad card would be swapped to another lucky company until -they- complained. We got -very- nervous when things were going well for us and the phone truck showed up anyway.
