As far as any upgrades, you need to go to V4R2 to use Domino 4.6.
Otherwise stick with the 4.51.

You should have received the book "OS/400 Integration of Lotus Notes
V3R7" (SC41-3431-02) with Domino. The V4 edition of this book has fairly
detailed instructions on how to install and configure the IPCS for use
with Notes/Domino, and I would imagine the V3R7 edition would also. Here
is the web address for the book from IBM:
http://as400bks.rochester.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr/bookmgr.cmd/BOOKS/QBKA
CL01/CCONTENTS

Keep in mind IBM may have stopped selling the IPCS version of Notes
(part of the announcement, but not sure when it goes into effect). This
would only be a problem if you haven't purchased it already.

Let me know if I can be of any further help!
