Agreed with everything Paul says.  You might also want to drop the
"manufacturer" configuration in favor of 3812.  We installed some JetDirect-
attached printers after our initial implementation of all TCP/IP via NetWare,
and found out from JetDirect that certain functions only worked if the
printers were configured as 3812's to the AS/400.
