David - if the trigger program is called by an OPM program (I don't think you mentioned that earlier) then if it has an AG attribute of *CALLER it will indeed run in the default AG. If that works for you, then that's fine, as long as you understand that if you have an ILE program that also calls the trigger, you have the potential to be running two different copies of the trigger at the same time. Again that may not be a problem for your design, I just wanted to make you aware of the potential.
