Thanks for the input.

I ran STRPCO on the PC (running CA DOS Extended) I want to send a command 
to, then went to an AS/400 session on another PC and ran RUNRMTCMD. It 
didn't work. The message was: Cannot allocate conversation for conversation 
A. What might that mean?

For a Windows 95 PC you only need to have CWBRXD running, correct?

You have to make sure that you've run STRPCO on the PC in question first...
