This is because the ILE program is created from modules. The modules contain the source, not the program. So, you must do a DSPPGM on an ILE program and go to the source list and then choose option 5 to display the location of the source it was created from. Hello Folks, I am wondering why it is with an OPM *PGM object I can use both the DSPPGM & DSPOBJD command to id the source member that created it. However my ILE *PGM (even though my ILE *PGM was created from only one source member) the DSPOBJD will not ID the source member that created it, and the DSPPGM command must be used for this purpose? Incidentally the DSPOBJD command is one of the greatest commands that can be aimed at an object. The information that you can get is GREAT... and you can output it to a file ..too! -- :-) Tim & Dana Truax (-: +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to "MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com". | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to "MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com". | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
