I had told them to disable all sound cards and anything else using the
COM ports - but of course it's hard to verify they actually did what you
asked when they are almost 1,000 miles away from you !   :-)
I think we'll have to ask them to send us their MPCA card and we'll have
to try to get it working here to see.
I know last time I tried this with CA/400 for Win/95 (about 2 years ago)
I could never get a 7852 modem to dial out with an SDLC connection
(after disabling sound card, twinax card, Ethernet card, and internal
modem).  I did have success getting the PC to answer a phone call when
initiated from the 400 side, and I was able to get a 7855 modem to dial
on the PC end, but never a 7852.

        This may seem like an odd reply but,  by any chance is there a
sound blaster
        compatible card in that PC with the MPCA card?  I have NEVER
been able to get
        the card working in a system with a SB (or compatible) card.
Once the card is
        removed it works like a champ.
