  • Subject: Sending AS/400 file(on V3R0M5) to internet site.

I need to develop an application for a client that will automatically
transfer an AS/400 file to an internet site based on a predefined
schedule, without any manual intervention. Unfortunately their AS/400
is still running V3R0M5. Upgrading to V3R2 is not an option because
they are replacing the box in the near future with a RISC box, but need
this application ASAP.

I am currently planning on using a PC to receive the file from the the
AS/400, then FTP from the PC to the internet site. The PC will be
dedicated to this task.

If anyone can shed any light on how this all can be automated so no
manual intervention is required would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
