Hi David,
Local User Groups are an excellant source of education. Some of them even hold
full day seminars (i.e. Delaware Valley Users Group) and 1/2 day seminars (
i.e. East Penn Computer Group). They bring in top name speakers at an
affordable price, and you can attend without having to pay for airfares, and
hotels. Any Joe Schmo, can afford to attend without having to relay on his
employer to pay, if he is unfortunate enough to work for a company that isn't
willing to pay the high cost of attending COMMON.

Subject: Education?

Greetings!

I was recently asked what kind of "Professional Education" offerings
were available for Midrange folks.

I immediately thought of COMMON... but I would like to offer some
alternative solutions.

Does IBM still hold it's "Technical Seminar"? I've heard that was/is
good. Is it still?

Anything else available on same scale as COMMON?

Thanks!

david
