Try to create an exclusive lock on the QSYS/QINTER object... if you can,
QINTER has ended... if you can't, it hasn't.

Take a look at the Programers Reference Guide manual in the Monitorable
Messages section for the SAVxxx command you are using... those are the
potential error messages you will have to deal with.  You can probably
discard some of them as unrealistic.
