RISC to CISC conversion

I'm not sure if I understand your ? but I will give it a go.  I believe you
want to go from RISC back to CISC with programs and files.  The rule to
follow is,  A. any objects have to be saved to the CISC release level that
you are trying to go to regardles if pgms or files.  B.  If programs, you
have to make sure that the programs are complied to the release level ie
3.7 in your example.  Then A. will handle this.  Any ? let me know.
