Sieze the day. Not only for the AS/400, but for companies that have Y2K ready products. Application houses are having to sell the AS/400 as ready, whereas a big, really BIG, joint push could do a lot for all parties. IBM has had a tradition of avoiding customer name dropping and using it's size as marketing issues, but maybe it's time to tell, no, to shout, exactly who is using an AS/400 and why they are using it. A little visionary statement of direction wouldn't hurt either. No one party has to "hitch" onto another companies band wagon, but if you're ready, let's start the parade and get some new converts!
