Hi Marc,

Unfortunately, you cannot return any kind of message from an exit
program. Just an indication of whether or not you want to allow the
session to continue and certain overrides to the user and other
parameters. 

We have a commercial product that does FTP security checking, supports
Anonymous FTP, and a number of other things. You can check it out at:
