The "00" credit card experience -- MIDRANGE-L

YES  I did  mean *exploration* below, as I expect this to be an adventure.
                         The  card expires in 01/00
I just  received my  first Credit card  with an exploration date past 12/31/99

Any  current experiences with the major credit/debit cards?
i.e.
Amex
Diners Club
Discover
Master Card
Visa
......... etc.

Where & what  & why they failed
(Partial  answers  are OK)
