AWK, I just woke up!

The 'K' stands for Kernighan, one of the originators of C. I think 'A' is
for Aho, and I don't remember the 'W'.

It's really a very viable tool in the Unix world, along with things like
'grep' and 'sed'. I think that much of what AWK does can be done with REXX,
though, which is available on the 400.

I find the Unix crowd to be much more whimsical that IBM. I suppose IBM has
some kind of 'image' to maintain. But consider the following, from REXX:
