It is not necessary to pay a CE to stick in a card in an open slot. It is just like putting in a card on the pc and rebooting. Used to be in the S/3x days, you needed a CE since they had to install ribbon cables, power modules etc. Thank goodness, IBM has made the AS/400 just as friendly as a PC (or is it the other way around?) -- Thank You.
