Lance we use a product called Delphi/400.  We have been using it for
about a year now.  We do all the user interface programming in Delphi
and the Heavy Duty work in CL/RPG on the 400.  Delphi/400 allows you to
call AS400 programs and use the return values from them.  It also allows
for direct record level access & commitment control.
