Has anyone asked you about tools that can identify at least most of the spots that need changing? We've used something called Adams (I'm not in the middle of this project, so don't know real names). Glenn Ericson, on this list, knows lots of resources. We have 12 years worth of very mixed code, many contractors, and also a lot from a code generator. We have files with separate 2-digit fields for year, month and day, as well as 6&7-digit YYMMDD & CYYMMDD. Even a general-purpose cross-reference tool like Hawkeye Pathfinder or Abstract Probe can be a tremendous help.
