There was also an excellent shell program published in this list a while
back. I think it was written by Pete Hall. I always use it as the
starting point for a new trigger (thanks, Pete). I'll send it on to you
if you like. However, for the original problem I still don't see why
journaling is not a simpler and better solution than using triggers.
