If you don't HAVE to use the NS/Router, don't. IMO, it's a piece of junk (perhaps that will improve now that NEtManage owns Netsoft). We dumped DLC and Netsoft as soon as we got our hands on Windows 95. Straight TCP/IP is the best option in my experience, but it's by no means perfect. We have to use the NS/Router and Anynet for a few workstations using a particular application ( a dialer app using Callpath 400) that requires device names. But since those PCs only have to use that app for an hour or so a day, I set them up with TCP/IP for their usual stuff and NS/Anynet for the one app. ---------- > From: Peter Schaefer <peter@netserv.ouac.on.ca> > To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com > Subject: CA/400 for Windows 95/NT 3.1.2 > Date: Friday, November 21, 1997 1:18 PM > > We are running CA/400 For Windows 95/NT 3.1.2 on our Windows 95 > machines.
