Haven't experienced the problem (we don't use host print transform), but here are some recent V3R2 printing related PTF's that are NOT on the latest cum tape. May be worthwhile applying them to see if it solves the problem: SF43431, SF44618, SF44505 ... Neil Palmer AS/400~~~~~ ... NxTrend Technology - Canada ____________ ___ ~ ... Last Sunday, I permanently applied (re-IPL'd) the latest V3R2 cumulative PTFs and RISC upgrade PTFs. On Monday, we experienced printing problems. 1. Any NetSoft printer sessions using Hostprint transform *Yes and using a workstation customizing object (*WSCST) had the first print job print out using a wrong font BUT subsequent reports printed out ok. 2. Any printer using HOSTPRINT/400 started randomly losing communication to the AS/400. I have spoken with NetSoft, Netware SAA and IBM. I applied the latest patches and still no luck. I performed a communications trace with IBM and they are convinced the AS/400 is sending the right information. While I'm sure that's true, it doesn't help solve my printing problems. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to "MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com". | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MAJORDOMO@midrange.com | and specify 'unsubscribe MIDRANGE-L' in the body of your message. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
