Many organizations need their individuals to slow down and invest more time making sure they are doing the right things so the organization as a whole can speed up. Fast individuals delivering the wrong software is little benefit. Some managers tend to think they can make things happen sooner by lighting a fire under individuals, when their proper function is to set up the right environment for effective collaboration between those individuals.
