defer write parm

           I have a spooled file sitting in my output queue that has a status of
           *HLD.  When I try to release the file, it disappears for a second

          Check the message queue that is attached to that printer,  chances are
          the attributes for the spool file are not support by the printer.
          Every time it puts the output on hold it will also send a message to
          the message queue that explains the problem.
