I have no clue.  I had used 3487s for years, and when I went to my first
lab in COMMON Europe, I was flabbergasted to see that this feature even
existed.  (Remember, I sell this stuff!)

So when I ordered my next 3487, I ordered one.  My CE made the comment that
he had never seen it either.
