If you look at the job schedule entries there is a next run date field. If you have a weekly job that kicks up at 1:30AM on Saturday (Sunday?) the 25th (26th?) the job scheduler will submit that job and change the next run date to the 1st of November. Therefore, when you pass 1:30 again on the 25th the scheduler will not re-submit the job. -Walden ------------------------------- Walden Leverich Tech Software walden@techsoftinc.com www.techsoftinc.com -----Original Message----- From: Leland, David [SMTP:dleland@harter.com] Sent: Wednesday, October 22, 1997 12:22 PM To: 'MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com' Subject: Daylight Savings Time question If I have a job scheduled (in WRKJOBSCDE) to run at 1:30 on this coming Saturday (Oct. 25) and I also have a job scheduled to run at 2:00 am this coming Saturday to change the system time back to 1:00, will the first job run two times? In the past, I've run into this problem. Didn't know if it was corrected now (or maybe that's the way it's supposed to work).
