A couple of things:

RE: Windows.  Win/98 won't be out until 2/98'ish...AFTER xmas....can you
read between the lines here?  Uh, we're talking upgrades after selling '95
for xmas boxes....!  Can you say "thank you sir, may I have another?".

RE:  Rochester/Marketing/ etc epistle....  Well, as you recall, I wasn't
that far behind you in line and on the education and users group issue.
Unfortunately, someone only got half the story, called up the local folks
and told them I'ld dumped on IBM DC which couldn't be further from
reality as we've had really good support from Anne...  ... Well, we got
that straightened up
in a hurry and have a HECKUVA GREAT meeting with our local district mgr.
Frankly, we're optimistic that we're gonna get communications and mutual
efforts here for the users that we've been looking for neigh unto some
time...much of which has been the fact that there's limited infrastructure
on the IBM side (a point you've well documented), ergo thin resources.
Hopefully, that's being worked on.   Ask me in New Orleans...  I think
that Bob Clark has gotten the picture and knows what needs to be developed
and frankly I'm willing to give them until 1Q '98 to see what happens from
the bombardments that they got on the education and marketing comments at
soundoff...

Call me optimistic at this point, but if not, I'll probably be ahead of
you in line at soundoff in New Orleans... :)
