What IP address is assigned to your AS400? Don't you get dynamiclly assigned an IP address each time you dial the ISP??" I do you SLIP connection. It is a local New England ISP. My IP address was assigned by my ISP. I use the same IP address for the 400. However, if I'm on a boat in Marblehead Harbor with my laptop or on Siesta Beach, I use Compurserve or AOL.
