Find a local ISP that you can call without a long distance charges.  For
example, mine is 3 miles from me.  Put in a regular telephone line.  When
your system starts up have it dial, yes dial up ISP,  My ISP cost $90 a
month + local phone cost only.
Use an ISP like AOL or Compuserve when you are traveling to get to your
AS400.
Not much more to it.  Hope this helps.
