The SQL Programming (V3R6) manual, in Appendix E. Analyzing Job Trace
Information, talks about the modules that may show up in a trace report. On
page E-6, QSQROUTE is described as "The first called SQL routine—for
embedded SQL. When browsing a trace report on the screen, use the search
facility to locate this module first."

It appears the QSQXCUTE is the equivalent for interactive SQL.
