  • Subject: Restoring Source of a logical File
  • From: "Catherine Wilbur"<cwilbur@xxxxxxxxxxx>

How do I go about taking my logical file object (F43199LZ) and recreate the
source code that was used
to create that logical? I have a need to recreate this logical in a new
environment but have no source code for the
old logical. The file layouts are not the same from the old release to the
new release so I cannot just copy the logical over.
Need to get to the orginal source, modify it then recreate it. Any help
would be much appreciated. Looked on the AS/400
through the logical file CL commands but could not come up with one.
