OK, got my problem solved, but here's the weird part... Got this message when I tried to connect to the AS/400 with the user profile PATDYE: "CWBLM0006-The AS/400 license system S101434A is not available." Help text indicates "Link between workstation and system is not working or incorrect system name was specified." Leaving the system name the same and twinax address, etc., I went into NS Router and changed the default/common user to LOYD (myself). Also went into AS/400 Connections and changed the defaults there to LOYD. The session worked. I created a user profile on the 400 called DYEPAT just to get CA95 talking to the 400, and it worked fine. I'm glad it worked, but can anyone figure out WHY one user profile wouldn't work (an existing user) and another user (existing) does, and a newly-created user does. I thought it had something to do with the licensing of CA95, ref. the help message, but it doesn't.
