This is quite correct... as I've been on all three sides of the I.T. fence 
in my career so far (end user, consultant, and s/w developer).  I can 
attest that to the fact that "The Customer is NOT always right"... 
however, "The customer IS always the customer".  It's the consultants 
job to offer the best possible solutiion(s) to a specific problem 
(including ALL of the ramifications).
