Tim,

It is _not_ true that WRKACTJOB remains "invisibly active".  Certain
statistical values are saved for elapsed time calculations, but it takes
virtually no additional resources to maintain them (aside from a
relatively infinitessimal amount of temporary storage).  When you press
F5 to refresh the display, these stored values are retrieved.  When you
press F10, the values are reset.  Other that that, they're just sitting
in storage waiting to be accessed.
