Dear Lloyd, It is great that you thought ahead like you did. I did call the software firm and they told me that they have no intention of fixing the package. They further told me that according to my licensing aggreement, that I could not have the code altered by another person to fix the date field problem. Only problem is that I dropped their contract 1 year after I bought the software because they accused me of altering their software when I installed another program on the machine. They took my software off and sent it to their headquarters to see if I had violated their code. I promptly gave them the boot. Even when I recently called them for an update, the woman started to yell at me about how they owned that code and I couldn't touch it and further she stated that she or her company didn't care if my machine dropped dead at the year 2000.
