They have use rights to production programs. We use Aldon's Change Management System to control movement of programs to production (via a QA environment). Our programmers do have profiles as Users, which does allow them to access production files. Yeah, but it's not -my- idea! However, as a user, they are subject to the controls put in place by the programs. They're not supposed to have *ALLOBJ rights.
