As some others already have pointed out, S/38-applications work perfectly on the AS/400 without any source-changes. But if you decide to convert to native OS/400-mode there are some things to remember. The first are some significant differences in the SBMJOB-command. In CPF-mode most parameters were set to *JOBD, as opposed to OS/400-mode where most parameters are *CURRENT. This includes a batch-compile from PDM, where you can get some odd results with librarylists when using the CLP38 or RPG38 membertypes. Another command which differs greatly is RCLRSC. CPF-mode RCLRSC is equivalent to OS/400-mode RCLRSC *CALLER. /Joakim Joakim Svensson IT-Architect Cap Gemini, Sweden +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to "MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com". | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MAJORDOMO@midrange.com | and specify 'unsubscribe MIDRANGE-L' in the body of your message. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
