New AS/400's -- MIDRANGE-L

× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

I'm in the processing of negotiating for the new "e" series of 
AS/400's.  I was told, and I haven't researched this, that there is a 
limitation on the first work station controller only.  It will only 
allow 28 devices "active".... now can this really be ???? I thought 
that IBM learned it's lesson with the 40 "active" session years ago.  
Anyone else hear of this ????? Cause if that's the case.. I'll have 
to add another workstation controller to pick up the slack that I've 
lost from the 1st controller..... 

anybody's insight would be appreciated !!
