Excerpts from midrange-l: 11-Sep-97 Spooled file ==> Web Page? Robert Myers@neosoft.com (1347*) > 2) Simple spooled file with some vertical and horizontal lines > using the (-) and (|) chars. with a mixture of approx. 200+ chars. > across. > I dropped into a 1 column by 1 column table > (all 255 chars. across) on the Web pageand guess what? > The columns were all messy! :-( Just a guess, but could this be due to your table cell defaulting to a proportional font? Or are you possibly not ending each line of output with a 'break' tag
(forcing a newline?) IIRC, without a
or
tag, the text simply flows together. If you're not already, you might try wrapping your imported data with the 'preformatted' tags...
table data here
HTH. ___ _ Blair Wyman (wyman@vnet.ibm.com) // Phone: 507.253.2891 ( /_) / _ ' _ Advisory Programmer, Dept GZA // TieLine: 553.2891 __/__)_/_<_/_/_/_' SLIC Program Model, IBM Rochester // Vnet: blair@rchland Opinions expressed are not IBM's // "SPOOOOOOOOOOOOON!" +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to "MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com". | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MAJORDOMO@midrange.com | and specify 'unsubscribe MIDRANGE-L' in the body of your message. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
