Since the EPA has put serious restrictions on the use of halon, a
number of companies are trying to come up with alternatives. Here are
     a couple of examples:

     Spectrex Inc. http://www.spectrex-inc.com

     Safety Hi-Tech E-Mail: Safety.HiTech@PN.ITnet.it

If you do an Internet search of "halon alternatives" (or similar), you
get a lot of hits on sites with good information.

As far as disaster recovery companies, we have used both IBM Business
Recovery Services and SunGard. Both do the job well, and offer
alternate sites and mobile recovery operations, as well as other
     options.

     Good luck in your pursuit!
